8th anniversary Octopath Traveler !
07/24/2026
Even though I’m a little late in covering this news (my vacation was just too awesome), there’s been a ton of information to share! First of all, I’d like to take this opportunity—on the occasion of the 8th anniversary, which took place on July 13, 2026—to congratulate and thank the entire staff behind the various Octopath Traveler games: You’ve done an incredible job that has completely changed my life as a gamer! Figurine Primrose Getting right to the point, the Primrose figurine—teased back in 2023 for the series 5th anniversary—finally has a release date, and pre-orders are now open! It’s scheduled for May 29, 2027, though the date is subject to change. The product page for the Primrose figurine has been updated accordingly. You can find the official link Here RAKU SPA collaboration Next, a collaboration was announced between RAKU SPA and Octopath Traveler. The collaboration will run from August 6 to 25, 2026! A wide variety of exclusive merchandise will be available throughout the collaboration, each item more stunning than the last! You can find the official link Here Octopath Traveler 0 Free Update Finally, it was announced that a free update for Octopath Traveler 0 will be released in late 2026, featuring the arrival of Elliot and new challenges! I love this kind of free update, but I would have much preferred a translation of the game into various European languages so we could play it properly. Octopath Traveler 1 & 2 Nintendo Switch 2 Also, Square Enix announced the release of Octopath Traveler 1 & 2 on Nintendo Switch 2 on GameKeyCard that will provide a better frame rates and higher resolution. Unfortunately, save files from the Switch 1 versions will not be compatible with the Switch 2 versions. Likewise, no update for the Switch 1 versions will allow players to take advantage of these new features: Players will need to repurchase the full games. A bundle version of both games will also be available, but unfortunately only in Japan. The database has been fully updated with: - New artwork related to the collaboration with RAKU SPA - New Merchandise related to the collaboration with RAKU SPA - New artwork related to the release of The Adventure of Elliot : Millenium Tales - The Switch 2 editions of Octopath Traveler 1 & 2 - The Primrose figurine - New artwork related to the Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent collaboration with Final Fantasy X Have a Marvelous Day !
